Meiko Group is aggressively striving its sustainable activities to enhance the trust of all stakeholders through its sound/transparent management and business activities harmonizing the society and the environment, thereby contribute to the sustainable development of the society and improve its corporate value based on the philosophy of Meiko Group.
Sustainability Promotion System
We reform the CSR Management System of Meiko Group in order to strengthen
our initiatives for climate change and social agenda by setting KPI targets
and specific strategies in place to implement the PDCA cycle.
Sustainability Execution Conference bears the functions
such as determining the policy, managing the PDCA cycle
and deliberating specific measures in relation to the sustainability issues.
The conference is a direct arm under the President & CEO,
and a Director and Executive Officer is appointed as the chairman of the conference.
The conference further collaborates with the relevant departments to develop action plans
for inherent issues such as environment, society, R&D, human rights, education,
public relations & investor relations. It assesses the progress of the activities constantly,
and reports them to the board of directors’ meeting from time to time.
